My Simplicities have the same thing. As near as I can figure, the snow rushing past the gap should suck in air, that air should form a thin layer between the snow and chute. :cheers: Gordy
If it starts when you pour gas through the carb, then it's a fueling issue. If it needed that much maintenance, would have a look at the hose running from fuel pump to the block...a leaking...
