I recently purchased this refurbished 1985 Case 446 with a rebuilt Onan 18 hp. from Case Tractor Hobbiest, Rober Des Jardin, South Lyon Michigan.

For the most part, the geographical history of this tractor has kept it in the State of Michigan. I think Bob Des Jardin did a great job on restoration. It's not exactly original or perfect, as the updated seat has replaced the original, and it sports a used/mechanically refurbed Case L80 snow caster that came from a 200 series Case tractor. I purchased this for snow plowing a very long narrow dirt driveway. After having ridden this mechanical wonder, I have only positive things to say about it. It's the only mechanical item that I own from the eighties that works perfectly.

My Thanks to Robert Des Jardin, and others that have donated their time, pics and info on their tractors.

Bigman, thanks for the welcome. Yes, I think my friend Bob did well by me. I'm sure he does the same for everyone he deals with. It's a hobby for a retired guy that he absolutely loves.

I think this forum sports the same kind of quality information that benefits anyone that has an interest in these fine machines. So far, I've been able to find the information to questions I've had by searching. If I hit a wall, I'll ask. Thank you again for your pleasant Welcome.
