    "Looking to sell or trade my case tractor for a quad.

    The tractor is not in a show room condition & could use a bit of work. It runís and drive but there oil leaks here and there and the engine smokes a bit under load.

    Looks drippiest at the oil cooler. Hopefully just an issue with the hoses. Pretty black on the one side, so that engine is definitely smoking. In general ok though...quite a bit left to work with.

    Good question. I believe this machine has been up a few times over the past year, although this time he has more pictures and a more detailed description...but not about the battery.

    I had thought he just had it back there for weight in the box, but on closer inspection you can definitely see a wire attached to it. Also too bad there isnít a 3 pt hitch. Is it normal to have a hydraulic PTO in the back, but no hitch?

    Three things come to mind that use a standard trailer hitch and PTO, trailer type wood splitter, chipper/shredder, and that hydra cutter that was just up on another thread.

    Battery; Needed room for the free truck battery

    I wish I had a picture of my first 224 when I got it. There was a hokey frame made to hold a massive gel cell battery over the left front tire, and a old school foot operated starter switch, bypassing the solenoid PO could not figure out the safety switch I guess
