A member for a while and enjoy reading the forum, and learning from the real wealth of experience on it. Like some others, haven't posted before, mostly just reading and learning. Live in Lafayette IN, retired from Purdue. When I moved here, next door neighbor was a Case dealer, need I say more? Have had a 446 for a long time (it kind-of retired with me), great machine. Bought a snowcaster for it way back when and that thing was amazing. Sold it last year to a guy from over W Illinois way. As we will be moving south, sorry to say 446 will probably see a new owner soon, doing less and less with it as I age out. Anyway, thanks for all your help in being able to maintain my 446, mostly routine things, and just reading about these great machines.

Well I didn't retire from Purdue, I graduated from Purdue in 1974 and left town. Married a Purdue Gal a few years later. We both grew up around Winamac, Indiana. Due to different jobs we moved to NW Ohio, Southern Ohio, then finally Southern Michigan. Been here for 31 years, I guess we could call it Home!

My first experience with Case yard tractors was a 108, i believe. Bought at the local Case dealership where we had started buying our farm tractors. Bought my first Case GT when we lived in Southern Ohio. It was a 444 Demonstrator with Tiller and mower deck. That was a long time ago!

My sister-in-law Becky Moyer retired from Purdue a couple years ago. When you say move south that leaves a lot of room to move around. Hope you have a good retirement!
