I'm at wits end at removing the steering gear bracket from the frame of an older 224......does anyone have a easy way to do this?
Remove the 4 bolts, it's too tight to slide out?
Comes out where the implement lift should be. I've found a small bottle jack with moderate pressure on the 2 side rails will typically let them slide out.

I had a leaky valve cover gasket this summer that caused a lot of grass and dust to accumulate on my engine, creating heat issues. I was short on time, so I took it to the local lawn and garden shop...
