Question Removal of the "steering gear/shaft support" bracket from older 224 frame

I'm at wits end at removing the steering gear bracket from the frame of an older 224......does anyone have a easy way to do this?

    Thanks,

    Doug

Remove the 4 bolts, it's too tight to slide out?

Comes out where the implement lift should be. I've found a small bottle jack with moderate pressure on the 2 side rails will typically let them slide out.

Thanks for the reply.....got it out using the jack and a "big" hammer.

    Appreciate it,

    Doug
